Family Height Chart by Tanya Wolfkamp, New Zealand

The height chart illustrates growth, from the baby in the pram at the bottom to a larger boy at the top of the tree, surrounded by New Zealand birds; the Tui, Fantail, Morepork and Kereru at the top.

The artwork was created by using paper cutouts and collage. After getting the palette worked out Tanya painted lots of large squares of textured paper using a variety of techniques; impasto, roller, watercolour and dry brush.
